ADAM DALE STACY JAROD LEE SISCO
A truck was reported stolen Thursday around 6:30 p.m. from the parking lot of Harp’s Grocery in Calico Rock. Izard County deputies responded and the truck was located on crossroads on state highway 223 about two hours later. In the driver’s seat was a white male who was transported to the Izard County Detention Facility where he is being held on an investigative hold. A female who is suspected of being involved in the theft was also arrested and placed on an investigative hold. In later developments, Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the female, identified as Elizabeth Deanette Young age 41 of Pineville was not charged in connection of the theft but is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility on the charge of driving on a suspended license. The male, twenty one year old Adam Dale Stacy was charged Friday with the theft of the truck and theft of a firearm that was in the truck, a class “c” and class “d” felonies respectively. Adams is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $15,000.
A level 2 sex offender on active probation from prison has been arrested for failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements. Jarod Lee Sisco who’s registered address is in Horseshoe Bend had moved some days ago to an address in Viola. Thirty one year old Sisco had not reported his new address and had not reported his new employer. This charge is a class “c” felony. Sisco remains in the Izard County Detention in lieu of a cash bond in the amount of $10,000.
Victor Wilbur Vasey, age 49 of Oxford was arrested October 24 on charges of harassment and obstructing a highway or other public place. Sheriff Lawrence said officers have responded to the Vasey residence several times in the recent past regarding similar complaints. Vasey posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $1,295 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a December 15 court date. Sgt. Mark Simino was the arresting officer.
Shane Langston, age 35 who gave his address as being homeless was arrested the night of October 25 on the charge of loitering. Langston was released the following day and given a November 17 court date. Cpl. Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
Steve Keith Wheeler, age 45 of Brockwell was arrested Thursday night on the charge of possessing a controlled substance. Wheeler posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,250 and given a December 15 court date. Cpl. Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
Another Oxford man, 50 year old Michael Lawrence Legett was arrested October 26 on felony contempt of court and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $960 bond with a scheduled court date of November 7. Cpl. Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
Tasha Lee Bowman, age 30 of Pineville was incarcerated October 24 from drug court for infractions. Bowman served a five day period and was released Friday.
Cynthia Ann Porter, age 41 of Cherokee Village was placed on a probation/parole hold on Thursday for a seven day commitment.
A Hardy man, Mathew Jeffrey Sullivan was incarcerated October 24 from drug court to serve a 4 day commitment for drug court infractions.
Joseph Phillip Cunningham, age 54 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested October 26 for failure to pay child support. Cunningham remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $42,156 back child support. Sgt. Mark Simino was the arresting officer.
Jimmy John Lewallen, age 33 of Melbourne was arrested October 24 on a warrant for failure to appear was released the day of his arrest and given a November 17 court date. Lewallen turned himself into authorities.
Matthew Dwayne Sutterfield, age 42 of Mountain Home was arrested Thursday on a failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $685 cash bond.
