Izard Authorities Make Variety of Arrests

Gretchen Stamper, age 41 of Calico Rock was arrested Sunday following a domestic violence call to a residence in Brockwell.  Stamper is alleged to have become violent with her daughter and another female because Stamper wanted to drive to the liquor store but they felt she was too intoxicated to drive. Stamper remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a bond hearing. Stamper has a scheduled court date of December 15. Deputy Jaden Whitfield was the arresting officer.

Sharon Elizabeth Middleton, age 32 of Cave City was arrested November 11 on the charge of criminal trespass stemming from trespassing on land near Violet Hill and was attempting to carry items from the unoccupied house. Middleton posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,000, released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a November 17 court date.

Annie Jane Morris, age 47 of Jefferson was arrested November 13 on a disorderly conduct charge stemming from her being intoxicated at an Oxford residence and was causing a disturbance with a home owner. Morris bond the day of arrest and released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a November 17 court. Deputy Geoffrey Watts was the arresting officer.

Michael Joseph Jacob, age 48 of Melbourne was arrested November 16 on a Stone County warrant without bond and was later transported to Stone County. Deputy D.J. Tiernan was the arresting officer.

Michael Richard Dempski, age 46 of Calico Rock was arrested November 18 on a failure to pay fines warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $390 cash bond and has a court date of December 15.Deputy Mike Foster was the arresting officer.

Cody Edward Rush, age 31 of Mountain View was arrested November 16 on a failure to pay child support. Rush remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $6,000 bond. Rush was arrested in Stone County and returned to Izard County authorities.

Clint William Young, age 39 of Norfolk was arrested November 17 on a petition to revoke parole/probation and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Young was arrested in Baxter County and returned to Izard County authorities.

Arrested November 17 in Baxter County, Johnna Lee Mayfield, age 31 of Mountain Home remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Mayfield has a scheduled circuit court date of November 21.

Cory Horton, age 18 of Batesville was arrested November 18 on a failure to appear charge and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,410 cash bond. Deputy Mindy Jones was the arresting officer.

Dakota Reiley, age 18 of Franklin was arrested Saturday on a failure to pay fines warrant but was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting a required $880 cash bond Reiley has a court date of December 15. Deputy Geoffrey Watts was the arresting officer.

Michael Eugene Williams, age 53 of Mt. Olive was arrested November 17 on charges of harassment and criminal trespass involving neighbors. Williams was released the day of his arrest after appearing in court.

Dallas Lee Johnson, age 27 of Melbourne was arrested November 13 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Johnson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $450 cash bond and an Independence County hold and has a court date of December 15. Johnson turned himself in to authorities.

Gerald Eugene Gallup, age 63 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested November 12 following a disturbance at his residence and subsequent refusal to come out of the house as directed by Deputies Doyle Cross and Toby Smith. Gallup was released November 14 after appearing before Judge David Miller and given a December 13 Horseshoe Bend court date.
