DISTURBANCE RESULTS IN ARREST

Timothy Allen Morris, age 52 of Norfolk was arrested Sunday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and failure to appear. Morris remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond with a court date of February 16. Deputy D.J. Tiernan was the arresting officer.
A traffic stop Saturday night east of Melbourne resulted in the arrest of Jerri Turner on the charge of driving while intoxicated. The 26 year old Evening Shade woman’s blood alcohol concentration was .19 more than double the .08 required for a DWI charge. Turner was released from the Izard County Detention Facility Sunday morning after appearing before district Judge David E. Miller. Turner has a February 2 court date. Cpl. Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
Catherine Anna Mansfield, age 49 of Melbourne was arrested Friday night on the charge of possession drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle, driven by Timothy Scott Derrickson, the passenger Mansfield contained a syringe, a residue covered spoon, and a small glass vile. Derrickson, age 38 of Oxford remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on charges of driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing governmental operations and a probation/parole hold. Both have a court date of February 2. Cpl. Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
A disturbance Saturday night at a Melbourne apartment resulted in the arrest of Lordust Canvas Goodman. The nineteen year old from Melbourne was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a protection order. The possession charge stems from Goodman having a gas mask modified to ingest drugs. Goodman has a court date of February 16 and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility. Deputy Cody Cruse was the arresting officer.
Blandon Dillion Elkins, age 40 of Little Rock was arrested January 26 on a probation/parole absconder warrant and was released the following day and ordered to report to his probation officer in Jonesboro.
Tyler Joe Blanchard, age 22 of Oxford was arrested January 24 on the charge of domestic battering and was released the following day with a March 7 Horseshoe Bend court date. Deputy Toby Smith was the arresting officer.
Brian Manual Wells, age 43 of Melbourne was arrested January 24 on a parole hold and remains in Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Deputy Jayden Whitfield was the arresting officer.
A Trumann woman, 55 year old Kathy Ann Daniels was arrested January 26 on two hot check charges and a failure to pay fines warrant. Daniels remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $713 cash bond and has a court date of February 2. Deputy Dennis Hutchins was the transporting officer.
Beyoncia Shyrise McKinney, age 26 of Mountain Home was arrested January 27 on a failure to pay fines warrant and for violating Arkansas hot check law. McKinney remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $953 cash bond and has a court date of Februry2. Deputy Evan Jones was the arresting officer.
Desmond Eugene Arnold, age 37 of Elizabeth was arrested January 26 on a failure to appear warrant and was released the day of his arrest after appearing before district judge David E. Miller. Arnold has a court date of February 2. Lt. Charles Melton was the arresting officer.
Michael Jacobs, age 49 of Melbourne was arrested Saturday on shoplifting charges. Jacobs is alleged to have taken several items from Mark’s Pharmacy in Melbourne. Jacobs remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $150 cash bond and has a court date of February 16. Deputy Cody Cruse was the arresting officer.
