On March 9, 2017 The Izard County Sheriff’s Department transported four inmates to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Floyd Galbraith age 39 was sent on the charges of furnishing prohibited articles. Charles Carroll age 52 was sent on the charges of Delivery of Methamphetamine. James Frey age 25 was sent on the charge of furnishing prohibited articles. Jimmy Lewallen age 33 was sent on a theft of property charge.
On March 7,Robert Vargason age 26 was arrested and charged with Driving while suspended, operation of motor vehicle without license plates and operating a vehicle without liability insurance. Vargason bonded on a $775 bond and will appear in Horseshoe Bend district court on April 4.
On March 8, John Marvin age 31 was arrested for the charges of Domestic Battering 3rd degree, criminal mischief 1st degree and a second charge of domestic battering 3rd degree. Marvin is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center with a April 27, District court appearance date.
On March 6, Maurice Moser age 25 was arrested for domestic battering 3rd degree and a probation hold. Moser posted a $2500 bond and given a March 23, Melbourne District Court.
On March 9, Roger Langford age 63 was arrested and charged with theft by receiving. Langford bonded and was given an April 6, court date in Melbourne District court.
On March 8, Randall Lipford age 53 was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, defective equipment, fictitious tags, failure to register vehicle and had a parole hold. Lipford has a March 23, court date in Melbourne district court.
On March 10, Tracie Lakai Johnson age 48 was charged with theft by receiving a class A misdemeanor and theft by receiving a class D felony. Johnson bonded out on a $5000 bond and given a March 22 court date.
On March 10, Mark Daniel Wheeler age 49 was arrested and charged with Battery in the 3rd degree. Wheeler is being held in the Izard County Detention Center on a $500 cash bond. Wheeler will appear in Melbourne District court on April 6.
