According to Chief Deputy Earnie Blackley on October 5, Deputy Toby Smith attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2000 model Chevy Malibu for a tail light out and passing on a double yellow line. The vehicle refused to stop. Lt. Charlie Melton put up a road block on Camp Ground Road in Wideman. The vehicle came to a stop. The driver Brian Keith Cantrell Jr age 25 of Violet Hill was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for reckless driving, fleeing, failure to stop, no tail light, DWI drugs, fictitious license, possession with the purpose to deliver methamphetamine a class B felony and possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest methamphetamine a class D felony. Charlie Denise Templin age 22 of Violet Hill was a passenger in the vehicle. She was also charged with possession with the purpose to deliver methamphetamine a class B felony and possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest methamphetamine a class D felony. Both subjects are incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $30,000 bond. Both subjects are scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit court on November 22.

 

On October 4, Charles Edward Foster age 41 of Norfork was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for failure to pay fines. Foster was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and posted a $450 cash bond. Foster is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on February 2.

 

On October 5, Payden Quinten Day age 26 of Cave City was arrested by Cpl. Richard Williams for DWI 2nd offence, refusal to submit to a chemical test and no license plates. Day was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given an OR bond. Day is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on November 2.

 

On October 8, Billy Wayne Worsham age 61 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested by Deputy Mike Foster for disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening. Worsham was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $840 bond. Worsham is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Horseshoe Bend on November 14.

 

On October 6, Russell Wayne Woods of Salem was arrested by Fulton County for failure to pay child support. Woods is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $3774 cash bond.

 

On October 8, Robert Sherman Ball age 37 of Benton was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for failure to pay fines. Ball was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a OR bond. Ball is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on November 30.

 

On October 8, Devan Scott Edge age 24 of Sage was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for harassing communications. Edge is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $1000 cash bond. Edge is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on November 2.
