IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT SHERIFF JACK YANCEY

According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on January 25, Deputies Evan Jones and D.J. Tiernan were dispatched to a local business in Melbourne for a reported shoplifting where a male subject had pushed a cart full of merchandise out of the back door of the business. During the investigation deputies located Michael Liscomb, age 38 of  Melbourne, in a field behind the business with the merchandise that valued at over $600. Liscomb also had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on his person. As a result, Liscomb was charged with the misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and shop lifting. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug paraphernalia; both are a class "D" felony. On the misdemeanor charges Liscomb's bond was set at $740 professional with a court date of February 6 in the Izard County District Court. On the felony charges Liscomb's bond was set at $10,000 professional with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court. Liscomb also has a hold out of Lawrence County on a pick up order for failure to pay child support.

On January 27, Allen Fuller, age 20 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Sean Tomlinson for domestic battery 3rd degree. Fuller's bond was set at $1,120 professional with a court date of February 20 in the Izard County District Court.

On January 27, Jennifer Gillespie, age 28 of Batesville, was arrested by Deputy Jason Jordan for driving on a suspended driver's license, careless driving, and no proof of insurance. Gillespie's bond was set at $780 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On January 28, Johnny Cox Jr., age 42 of Melbourne, was arrested by Lt. Gabe Sanders and Sgt. Mark Simino on a warrant for theft of property. Cox's bond was set at $1,000 cash with a court date of February 6 in the Izard County District Court.

On January 31, Kevin Chute, age 48 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Jason Jordan on a warrant for failure to appear in Circuit Court. Chute is being held on no bond with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 1, Steven Riffe, age 59 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy Nick Taylor for driving on a suspended driver's license. Riffe's bond was set at $100 cash with a court date of March 3 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 1, Emalee Hagen, age 20 of Dolph, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hagen's bond was set at $2,240 professional with a court date of February 20 in the Izard County District Court.
