A Friday night family altercation in Oxford led to the arrest of Michael Edward Fox, age 23 of HC 79 Box 145, Oxford. Fox was arrested pending formal charges of assault. Fox is accused of assaulting his mother who required medical attention at an area hospital. He remains in the Izard County Detention Facility. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that alcohol appeared to be contributing factor in the altercation.
While Deputy J.T. Baker was attempting to serve a Baxter County warrant on Jerry Thomas Dickerson, Dickerson refused to submit to arrest, became combative and was placed on the ground by the deputy. The forty year old Dolph residence was charged August 12 with resisting arrest and placed in the Izard County Detention Facility. Dickerson posted bond in the amount of $2,358 and was released.
Andrew Ninemire, age 21 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Saturday on charges of public intoxication-drugs and possession of a controlled substance. Minemire posted bond later in the day in the amount of $1,435 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Brenda Leeann Davis, age 35 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested late Friday night on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving left of Center. Davis was released from the Izard County Dentition Facility after posting bond in the amount of $1,185.
Tadd C. Hickerson, age 21 of Melbourne was arrested Saturday on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Hickerson posted bond in the amount of $2,110 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
In another alcohol related arrest, Charles Vaden Reed, age 30 of Pine Hill Road in Melbourne was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended license. Bond was posted later that day in the amount of $3,410 and Reed was released.
Cody Justin Casey, age 22 of Larkin Road , Melbourne was arrested Saturday for driving on a suspended license. Casey posted bond in the amount of $1,105 and was released.
William Kenny Frey, age 49 of Brockwell was arrested August 8 on charges of criminal trespass and public intoxication. Frey was later released to the Wilbur D. Mills Center in Searcy.
Christopher Trey Hill, age 21 of Melbourne was arrested Friday night on the charge of public intoxication. Hill posted bond the following day in the amount of $205 and was released from jail.
Colt Montgomery, age 25 of Melbourne was charged Friday night with public intoxication. Montgomery was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting a $210 bond.
Another Melbourne man, forty eight year old Steven Alan Vines was arrested late Friday night on the charge of public intoxication. Vines was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a $205 bond.
A North Little Rock man, Seth Allen Stanton was arrested Friday on an Izard County Failure to appear warrant. The nineteen year old Stanton posted bond in the amount of $620 and was released from jail.
Lisa Janelle Son, age 40 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Saturday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Son remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $925 bond.
James Earl Murphy III, age 19 of Paragould was arrested Saturday on a Greene County warrant. Murphy was transferred to the Greene County Jail.
Joseph Massey, age 27 of Berryville was arrested August 10 on a child support enforcement warrant. Massey was released by court the following day.
