Following a call to a Pineville resident the night of March 15 in response to a domestic call and upon the arrival of deputies, a male later identified as Louis Harris was leaving left the residence and failed to stop as ordered by deputies. Deputies pursued the vehicle which was traveling at a high rate of speed from Boyle Road in Pineville onto highway 177 then onto county road 38 where the vehicle hit the ditch several times before coming to a stop. Harris, age 51 of Pineville was arrested on charges to include domestic battery, careless driving, improper passing, driving while intoxicated, fleeing, and endangering the welfare of a minor. Harris appeared in Izard County District Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to all charges and is currently serving a jail sentence.
A Little Rock man, Rodney James Beasley was arrested Saturday night on charges of driving on a suspended license and fleeing. Beasley, age 46 remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending felony charges and on holds from Pulaski County and the City of Sherwood.
Following a traffic stop on highway 69 near Possum Trot Road Friday night, Lonnie L. Riddell, age 70 of Witt Springs was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving left of center, and possession of marijuana. At the time of his arrest, Riddell tested positive for marijuana. Riddell posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,450, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Eric F. Huihui, age 25 of Ash Flat was arrested during the early morning hours Saturday and charged with driving on a suspended license. Huihui remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Terry Clausing Sweeney, a female age 28 of Pueblo, Colorado was arrested Friday on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Sweeney was released from the Izard County Detention Facility later that day after posting bond in the amount of $206.
Charles Vaden Reed, age 30 of Pueblo, Colorado was arrested Friday a failure to pay fines warrant and a failure to appear warrant. Reed is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $6,250 bond and holds from Stone and Sharp counties.
Lisa A. Bean, age 45 of Calico Rock was arrested Saturday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Bean posted bond the same day in the amount of $395 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
A Melbourne man, nineteen year old Shelby Joe Roddy was arrested March 15 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Roddy remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.
Jessie Ray Brock, age 29 of Jacksonport Road, Pineville was arrested March 14 on warrants of failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Brock remains in the Izard County Detention Facility I lieu of a $4,500 cash bond.
John Wayne Madden, age 37 of Evening Shade was arrested March 13 on a felony probation violation. Madden remains in the Izard County Detention Facility until the next scheduled circuit court date.
Alisha M. Hawkins, age 29 of Sulphur Rock was arrested Saturday afternoon on a failure to pay warrant and violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Hawkins remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $975 bond.
William Earnest Blackley, age 29 of Melbourne was arrested March 15 on a felony probation violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility until the next scheduled circuit court date.
Three inmates of the Izard County Detention Facility who were awaiting bed space in the Arkansas Department of Correction were transported to prison. Tasha Lee Bowman, age 24 of Norfork was transported March 14. Jeffrey Chaser Moser, age 21 of Melbourne and Authur Bretney Tunnicliff were transported March 17.
