In other sheriff’s department activities, Dalton Ray Erwin, age 22 of Oxford and Amy Marie Smith, age 33 of Oxford were arrested Thanksgiving Day and charged with criminal trespass. The charges stem from the couple occupying another’s house in Oxford without permission.. Erwin remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $605 bond while Smith posted bond on Saturday in that amount and was released with a court date. Another Oxford man was arrested November 21 on charges of driving left of center and driving on a suspended license. Matt Simmons posted bond the following day in the amount of $480 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date. Cynthia Lou Boehm, age 46 of Salem was jailed November 21 after failing to comply with drug court instructions. Boehm was released November 24 after serving the commitment ordered by Circuit Court Judge John Dan Kemp. Eric Douglas Gunter, age 32 of Calico Rock was arrested November 22 on a Baxter County warrant and was transferred there the day of his arrest.. Jeffery Don Hairrell, age 44 of Violet Hill was arrested November 21 on contempt of court charges after failing to comply with the provisions of a no contact order issued by Izard County District Judge David E.
