Izard County deputies were dispatched to a Calico Rock residence early Saturday night in response to an unwelcome person at that residence who was causing problems. The unwelcome visitor had left the residence but later returned and attempted to avoid deputies by walking in a tree line. Richard Thomas Brown, age 53 of Pineville was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Brown remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond requiring an appearance before District Judge David E. Miller. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Brown has previously had numerous encounters with local law enforcement with the most recent previous encounter being April 16 for filing a false report with law enforcement.
Rodney Paul Medling;, age 37 of Brockwell was arrested April 16 on the charge of being a felon in possession of a fire arm. Medling remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a parole/probation hold. Medling, according to Sheriff Tate Lawrence has had numerous encounters with law enforcement at the misdemeanor and felony level.
Charles Billy Bohannan, age 49 of Mount Pleasant was arrested April 19 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. The arrest was made following a physical encounter with his wife during argument. Bohannon was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day, issued a no contact order, and given a court date.
Gary Wayne Butler, age 44 of Ash Flat was arrested April 24 on an Horseshoe Bend warrant, an Oregon County, Missouri warrant, and local theft of property charges. Butler, according to Sheriff Lawrence remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an initial court appearance.
A Saturday afternoon traffic stop by Deputy Kevin Helm resulted in the arrest of Dennis Allen Newman, Jr., age 31 of Batesville. Newman was charged with driving left of center and driving while intoxicated. Newman later posted bond in the amount of $1130 and was given a June 14th court date.
Jason Bradley Robison, age 24 of Melbourne was arrested April 25 on criminal investigative hold pending charges relative of a sexual nature. Robison was transported the following day to a Little Rock mental facility lockup.
Geoffrey Leroy Erwin was arrested April 18 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Erwin remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond in the amount of $1,925.
Jimmy Lee Honeycutt, age 58 of Mountain Home was arrested April 18 on a child support enforcement warrant. Honeycutt posted ac ash bond the following day in the amount of $1,047 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Bambie Renae Williams, age 35 of Franklin was incarcerated April 20 on a two day commitment order from Circuit Court. Bambie was released from the Izard County Detention Facility April 22.
Aleshia Cooley, age 32 of Melbourne was committed to the Izard County Detention Facility April 16 for violating conditions of drug court. Cooley served her seven day court commitment and was released April 23.
Jeremy David Wray, age 34 of Oxford was committed by drug court to the Izard County Detention to serve a seven day sentence for violating terms of that court. Wray was released April 23.
Jeanna Leann Dickerson, age 42 of Dolph was arrested April 26 on a Baxter County warrant. Dickerson was transported to the Baxter County jail the day of her arrest.
Ricky Ray Lake, age 33 of Melbourne was arrested April 25 on charges of careless and prohibited driving along with disorderly conduct charges. Lake posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $260 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Involved in the Lake arrest, Tanya Lynette Turner, age 42 of Melbourne was arrested April 25 on charges of disorderly conduct, careless driving, and driving on a suspended license. Turner posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $710 and was released with a court date.
Four inmates of the Izard County Detention Facility who were awaiting prison bed space were recently transported to the Arkansas Department of Correct. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Helen Leann McIntire age 29 of Mammoth Spring was transported April 17. Transported April 23 were John Louis Huff, age 21 of Batesville; James Clayton May, age 23 of Batesville; and Eric Miller, age 30 of Horseshoe Bend.
