Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that during the past few weeks there have be instances of purses being taken from vehicles in Melbourne. In all instances, the purses were left in unlocked , unattended vehicles. Sheriff Lawrence reminds everyone to lock their vehicle and place valuables in the trunk of the vehicle. These instances of purse theft continue to be investigated.
