Friday night when Izard deputies responded to a possible suicide attempt at a residence on Newburg Road. Upon arrival to the residence, it was determined that the alleged suicide attempt was medical situation requiring transport to a medical facility.. Several family members were in the home at the time including Johnnie Sawford, age 22, who irate at other members and stated that he would do bodily harm to the three women present. All three indicated they were afraid for their safety because of Swafford’s violent and aggressive behavior toward them. Swafford was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and terrorist threatening. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said Swafford appeared before District Judge David E. Miller on Sunday and was released with a court date. Alicia Nicole Harris, age 26 of Calico Rock and Travis Cagle, age 33 of the same address were arrested September 24 on the charge of theft by receiving. Some property early reported stolen from a residence in Calico Rock was located at the house Harris and Cagle occupied. Both posted bond the following day in the amount of $2500 and given a court date. The Izard County Sheriff’s Department continues to try to locate other property stolen from the residence. Shelia Verlene Winningham, age 46 of Batesville presented herself to detention personnel on Sunday to request an inmate visit. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Winningham was denied the visit because she was intoxicated. Winningham was arrested on the charge of public intoxication and was expected to be released after sobering up and posting bond in the amount of $205. Daniel Wayne Dwight, age 23 of Calico Rock was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Dwight appeared before District Judge David E. Miller on Sunday, posted a $145 bond, and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Michael Joseph Kelly II, age 23 of Franklin was arrested Saturday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Kelly remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $838 bond. A felony failure to appear warrant resulted in the Saturday arrest of twenty two year old Patricia Leann Lovell of Mountain Home. Lovell remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond. Melbourne man, Jeremy Wayne Crider, age 31 was arrested Thursday on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Crider posted a $225 bond on Friday and was released from jail with a court date Vonia Lasha Estes, age 48 of Melbourne was arrested September 26 on failure to pay fines warrant. After posting a bond of $280 on the following day, Estes was released the following day by District Judge David E. Miller. Eddie Demetrice Holliday, age 36 of Newport remains in the Izard County Detention Facility following his September 24 arrest on a child support enforcement warrant. A bond in the amount of $8589 has been set for Holliday. An Oxford man, Jason Lacade Ward, age 37 was arrested September 26 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Ward was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller the following day.
