Around midnight July 16, Izard County Deputy Acy Beebe was dispatched to a Hickory Street address in Pineville in response to a domestic violence call.  Upon arrival, the female complainant said that he fiancée Barton Teague, age 28 was intoxicated, was cursing her, and had urinated on her.  The victim stated that the two had been arguing and he pushed her off of their porch. She advised that Teague later passed out and when she tried to awaken him for purposes of sexual intercourse, he urinated on her. When awakened by deputies and taken outside of the residence, Teague missed a step causing him to fall. Emergency medical personnel were called to check Teague's well-being but he refused medical attention. Deputies observed bruising and scrapes on the victims right leg. Barton was charged with domestic battery third degree and transported by Deputy Ed Sollock to the Izard County Detention Facility. Deputy Phil Story assisted Deputies Beebe and Sollock. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that alcohol was a definite contributor to the domestic situation. Teague appeared before District Judge David Miller July 18, released and given a court.

On July 19, about midafternoon, deputies were dispatched to a Corinth Road address in Pineville in response to another domestic violence call. The female caller, identified as Christina Copes, advised Deputy Mark Simino that her minor children had been injured by her father-in-law. Deputy Kevin Helm took statements from Roger Copes, the father-in-law who stated that Christian Copes had stayed at the property overnight to be with her husband and allow the children to spend time with him due to pending action by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. Several allegation were made by both Christina Copes and Roger Copes but as the investigation unfolded it was determined that the father-in-law was the victim. Christina Copes, age 29 of Oxford was charged with domestic battery third degree and endangering the welfare of a minor third degree, and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility.

In yet another domestic violence dispatch, this time to Tower Road in Calico Rock on July 16 close to midnight, Senior Deputy Gabe Sanders and Deputy Phil Story arrested Jake Daniel McKinzie, age 29 of 816 Tower Road on the charge of battery third degree. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the initial argument between McKenzie and his wife involved alcohol and apparently Jake McKinzie had been drinking most of the day and was attempting to leave to purchase more alcohol when the situation escalated. McKenzie remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Senior Deputy Gabs Sanders was dispatched Sunday to a domestic on First Street in Oxford.  The situation involved an altercation between a father and son. Bobby Gray, the father, age XX of Oxford was charged with assaulting his son, also an adult, following an argument between the two. The elder gray was charged with domestic battery third degree and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility.

Jerrie Ann Fowler, age 41 of Thayer, Missouri was arrested late night of July 16 on the charge of driving while intoxicated.  Fowler was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting a $1,000 bond a given a court date.

 In another alcohol related arrest, Chance Adam Franks, age 28 of Camp was charged Friday around mid-night on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Franks later posted bond in the amount of $1,000 and given an August 22 date in Izard County District Court.

Kathy Ann Daniels, age 52 of Oxford was arrested July 15 on charges to include driving on a suspend license, obstructing governmental operations and on Izard County warrants of violating Arkansas hot check law-two counts. Daniels remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on these charges and an arrest hold from Sharp County.

Eric Donovan Williams, age 24 of Little Rock was arrested Sunday on misdemeanor warrants from Horseshoe Bend and Independence County. Williams remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Christopher Allen Martin, age 28 of Salem was arrested July 16 on an Izard County   contempt of court warrant relating to an earlier  theft property charge warrant along with a felony warrant out of Fulton County. The contempt charge stems from Martin failing to complete a rehab program or return to jail.

Adam Wade Pinkston, age 40 Jay Street, Melbourne was arrested Thursday on the charge of trespassing-land after authorities were called regarding a suspicious individual near Jacobs Lane in Melbourne. Sheriff Lawrence said that it appeared that Pinkston was “casing” the dwelling and an outbuilding for illegal purposes. Pinkston appeared Sunday before District Judge David E. Miller and given a court date.

Deina Marie Stonebraker, age 27 of Melbourne was arrested Thursday at Calico Rock on a failure to appear warrant. The arrest followed the investigation of an apparent fall from a cliff in the area. Stonebraker remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $500 cash bond.

Jason Lacode Ward, age 37 of Oxford was arrested Sunday on a Cleburne County misdemeanor warrant. Ward was transferred to that jurisdiction later that day.
