11/08/2013 ANOTHER DOG MISSING REPORT |
|||
The Izard County Sheriff’s Department received another report on November 7 of a missing dog following a report in previous weeks that six or seven dogs went missing. The report this week involved a Boston terrier missing about two weeks ago from a Violet Hill address. The dog is black and white in color, and is approximately one year old. The complainant said she let the dog out of her house for a short while and when she went back to retrieve it, it was missing. This disappearance is similar to previously reports of dogs missing. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that he highly suspects the small breed dogs are being taken and then being sold to a research laboratory. Once again, the sheriffs said there are no suspects and requests anyone having information to contact Chief Investigator Charles Melton at 870 368 4203.
