After avoiding apprehension for several days, Daniel Dwight was arrested Wednesday night February 12, in Harrison.  Dwight, age24 of Calico Rock has a lengthy criminal history in Izard County and the surrounding area and was recently released from jail after pleading that he needed to be in Little Rock with a sick child. Current charges he faces include a failure to appear and forgery in the second degree. Dwight is accused of forging five checks and cashing the checks at Harp’s in Calico Rock. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said his department is investigation additional forgery complaints against Dwight. Dwight remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond set by District Judge David E. Miller.

Dylan Daniel Dixon, age 28 of Malvern was arrested February 12 on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and a petition of revoke probation. Dixon remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.

Chad Jerome Langston, age 28 of Calico Rock was arrested February 13 for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Langston was also placed on a probation/parole hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

A Horseshoe Bend man was arrested and jailed twice on the same day. The morning of Feburary10 Brandon Earl Fields, age 45 was arrested on a failure to appear warrant and was released a couple of hours later after posting a $440 bond. The afternoon of the same day, Fields was arrested for driving on a suspended license and for no vehicle insurance. About an hour after the second arrest, Fields posted bond in the amount of $600 and was again released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Deputy Mike Smith made both arrests.

Eduardo Sotelo, age 23 of Rose Trail, Melbourne was arrested February 11 on a felony failure to appear warrant, improper window tinting, and driving left of center. Sotelo remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,260 bond. Deputy Phil Story was the arresting officer.

Deputy Mike Smith arrested Larry Ray Willingham, age 24 of Mammoth Spring on charges driving on a suspended license and failure to pay registration. Willingham posted bond of $705 the day of his arrest, given a court date, and released.
