10/28/2014 HEAD START STUDENTS HEAR FROM THE SHERIFF |

Sheriff Tate Lawrence and Chief Deputy Earnie Blackley, at the invitation of school staff visited on October 22 with the students of Brockwell Head Start. The focus of the visit involved talking to the children about the dangers of strangers and precautions they should take. Every student was also given the opportunity to ride with the sheriff in the department’s golf cart/patrol car. This is an annual event at each of the head start schools in Izard County.
