MEGAN ANDROFF JENNY LYNN NORTON
A Franklin man, Christopher Dennis Stone was arrested March 14 in Horseshoe Bend by Deputy Mike Smith charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and careless driving. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said thirty nine year old Stone was released March 17 due to medical considerations. Stone’s court date is May 3.
Alex Earnest Britt, age 48 of Pleasant Plains was arrested March 15 on a violation of Arkansas hot check warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $555 cash bond. Britt is scheduled to appear in Horseshoe Bend court April 7. Deputy Cody Cruse was the transporting officer.
Following a traffic stop March 16 in Horseshoe Bend, Darrell Ray Howey, age 46 of Horseshoe was arrested for having no drivers license and for disorderly conduct. Howey posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $195, released from detention, and given a May 3 court date. Deputy Mike Smith was the arresting officer.
Megan Renae Androff was arrested March 16 on charges of domestic battery third degree and violation of a no contact order. Androff is alleged to have committed these crimes while out of jail on bond, since revoked, for a previous domestic battery charge. Dandruff remains in the Izard County Detention Facility until her court date of April 21.
Jenny Lynn Norton, age 31 of Salem was arrested the night of March 17 on the charge of public intoxication after she was found passed out in a vehicle. Packets of methamphetamine were also located in the vehicle causing felony drug charges soon to be filed against her. Norton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond and a scheduled court date in Horseshoe Bend of May 3. Deputy Doyle Cross was the arresting officer assisted by Cpl. Richard Williams and Hugo his drug dog partner.
Kevin Monroe Hutson, age 35 of Melbourne was arrested Monday for possession of a controlled substance and a Sharp County warrant. Hutson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1120 bond. Deputy Mike Foster was the arresting officer.
Following a traffic stop Sunday by Deputy Mike Foster, Holly Marie Craig, age 22 of Ash Flat was arrested for driving on a suspended license and for not having vehicle insurance. Craig remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
Krista Winters, age 49 of Violet Hill was arrested violating a no contract order from another county and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Chaz Michael Dampier, age 21 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Sunday for theft of property related to stealing a pair of boots and discovered wearing the boots. Dampier remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,120 bond and has a Mary 3 Horseshoe Bend court date. Deputy Toby Smith was the arresting officer.
Leann Harris, age 37 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested March 16 on a child support enforcement warrant. At the time booking into the Izard County Detention Facility,Harris’ behavior resulted in her being drug tested with positive result for meth, oxycodone, and Benzedrine. Harris remains in jail in lieu o f a $1,651 cash bond with a court date of April 3. Deputy Mike Smith was the arresting officer.
Two Arkansas Department of Correction inmates who were transported from prison to stand trial in Izard County were charged with various offenses they committed while in the Izard County Detention Facility. Jonathan Gustafson, age 31 was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental operations, and criminal mischief. Kyle Weeks, age 26 was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction governmental operations.
