CHANCE MCCURLEY
After running from and eluding law enforcement for several days, Chance Lee McCurley, age 26 of Melbourne was captured Thursday night at a residence in Boswell. On July 11, 2016 in Izard County Circuit Court, McCurley plead guilty of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor and was fined and sentenced to five years of probation. Within a day or so of his plea, McCurley violated the terms of his probation numerous times and is now in the Izard County DetentionFacility awaiting a probation revocation hearing and a most likely prison term. McCurley also faces additional charges to include felon in possession of a hand gun and a sawed off shot gun. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said McCurley was arrested without incident.
