A Conway man was arrested Sunday during a visit to an inmate at the North Central Prison Unit in Calico Rock. Justin Lee Geeslin, age 23 was charged with seven felonies related to illegal drugs and one felony for furnishing prohibited articles in a lockup facility. Correction officers discovered that the inmate he visited had smokeless tobacco in his pockets and they then searched the vehicle of Geeslin and found three clear plastic bags containing a crystalline substance that later tested as methamphetamine, a white box containing three plastic bags of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, a set of digital scales and a glass smoking pot, an assortment of prescription drugs, and other drug related items. Specific charges include furnishing prohibited articles, and class “c” felony, possession of prescribed narcotics outside the dispensed container, a unclassified felony; possession with the purpose to use paraphernalia to pack or store methamphetamine , a class “b” felony; possession with the purpose to deliver marijuana, a class “d” felony; possession with the purpose to deliver alprazolam, a schedule IV narcotic, a class “d” felony; possession with the purpose to deliver oxycodone, a schedule II narcotic and a class “c” felony; possession with the purpose to deliver methamphetamine, a class “a” felony; and possession to deliver a controlled substance near a certain facility. Sgt. Gabe Sanders and Deputy Geoffrey Watts of the Izard County Sheriff’s Department assisted correction officers and made the arrest. Also assisting with the charges was the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force. Geeslin posted bond August 31 in the amount of $30,000, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a September 19 circuit court date.
Anita Marie Walde, age 50 of Calico Rock was arrested August 29 on a felony failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond. Walde has a scheduled circuit court date of September 19.
Holly Ann Harmon, age 29 of Cave City was arrested August 30 on the charge of possessing drug paraphernalia and remains in jail without bond on a petition to revoke her probation. Harmon has a circuit court date of September 19.
Charles Boothe, age 33 of Calico Rock was arrested September 1 on a failure to appear warrant and a battery warrant. Boothe remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $3033 cash bond. Boothe has a district court date of September 8.
Cynthia Goodin, age 40 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 31 on a parole/probation hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Nicole Cleveland, age 36 of Pineville was arrested on a criminal contempt warrant. Cleveland posted bond toward her fines and was released from jail on September 1.
Allen Dale Ivy, age 58 of Mountain View was arrested august 29 on a failure to appear warrant. Ivey appeared before District Judge David E. Miller on September 1 and was released from the Izard County Detention with a September 8 court date.
Kenneth Eugene Allen, age 20 of Batesville was arrested August 8 on a failure to appear warrant and was brought before Judge Miller two days later and was released with a September 22 court date.
