Administration

The Administration section of the Izard County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for record maintenance, receipts of money, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This section is also responsible for coordinating with all county courts, 4 Circuit Court Divisions and the Izard County District Court. This section coordinates with the Prosecuting Attorneys and maintains all criminal case files. 

The Fines and Restitution section of the Administration collects fines and restitution ordered by the 16th Judicial District Circuit Court-Criminal Division.                  

Betty Vest serves as the Sheriff's Administrative Assistant/Business Office Manager. Betty has served the Sheriff’s Office since 2007, first as a jailer before being promoted to her present assignment. She also serves as Reserve Deputy for the facility.

Talea Owens-Pittman has served since 2019, first as a jailer as well, and is currently the Administrative Assistant/Felony Fines Clerk.

*** ALSO...keep in mind that part of every payment goes toward state fees before we can take any off of other fines/fees...meaning the longer you take to pay, the more you end up owing because the state fees accrue every month ***
