According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, On February 9, Deputy Nick Taylor made a traffic stop on a vehicle in Horseshoe Bend. During the traffic stop Deputy Taylor gained consent to search the vehicle. Deputy Taylor located a small bag of marijuana and numerous pills that were identified as Hydrocodone; all of which was in the immediate control of the passenger identified as Leeann Guyer, age 25 of Horseshoe Bend. Guyer was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class "C" felony for the pills, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance for the marijuana. Guyer's bond was set at $5000 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County Circuit Court. 

On February 11, Arkansas Probation/Parole Officers along with the Izard County Deputies, 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, and Deputies with the Stone County Sheriff's Department conducted a home visit at the residence of Amber Smith, age 30 of Calico Rock, who is under supervision of Arkansas Community Corrections. During the search numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located. Also, at the residence was Joshua Kagebein, age 40 of Calico Rock. Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a class "D" felony and maintaining a drug premises, a class "B" felony due to the residence being within 1,000 feet of a church. Their bonds were set at $20,000 professional with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 9, Clayton Henderson, age 38 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy Nick Taylor for possession of a controlled substance. Henderson's bond was set at $1,250 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 10, Jason Pasini, age 37 of Melbourne, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for two counts of domestic battery 3rd degree. Pasini's bond was set at $1,000 cash with a court date of February 20 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 11, Marty Sexton, age 43 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant for contempt of court. Sexton was given an OR bond with a court date of May 21 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 11, Daniel Yancey, age 38 of Brockwell, was arrested by Trooper Lively for no vehicle license, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Yancey's bond was set at $2,085 professional with a court date of March 19 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 12, Brandon Davis, age 41 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford on a warrant for harassment. Davis' bond was set at $500 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On November 13, James Oliver, age 59 of Ash Flat, was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson on a warrant for harassment. Oliver's bond was set at $1,000 cash with a court date of March 3 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 13, Dillon Favor, age 26 of Evening Shade, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for driving on a suspended driver's license. Favor's bond was set at $365 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 13, Andrew Torres, age 23 of Melbourne, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for domestic battery 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Torres is being held on no bond pending a bond hearing. Torres' court date on the charges is March 5 in the Izard County District Court.
