IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT SHERIFF JACK YANCEY

According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on April 15 Deputy D.J. Tiernan took a report of an abandoned atv in front of a local business in Calico Rock. Tiernan located the atv and discovered the vin number had been removed off the main location from the factory. The vin was able to be obtained and the atv had been reported stolen out of Baxter County in 2019. During the investigation it was learned that Lewie Elmer Branscum, age 34 of Calico Rock, was the operator of the atv and was the person whom abandoned it where it was discovered. As a result, Branscum was charged with theft by receiving, a class "D" felony. Branscum's bond was set at $10,000 professional with a court date of June 19 in the Izard County Circuit Court.  

On April 14, Victor Vasey, age 53 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy Tyler Webb for terroristic threatening and resisting arrested. Vasey was given an OR bond with a court date of June 18 in the Izard County District Court.  

On April 22, Andrew James Hayes, age 33 of Mountain View, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan for DWI, driving left of center, and careless driving.  Hayes' bond was set at $1160 professional with a court date of July 23 in the Izard County District Court. 

On April 24, Colt B. Harrell, age 37 of Pineville, was arrested by Deputy Austin Grayham for domestic battery. Harrell's bond was set at $500 cash with a court date of July 9 in the Izard County District Court.  

On April 24, Billy Turner, age 48 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for DWI and refusal to submit. Turner was given an OR bond with a court date of July 9 in the Izard County District Court.
