According to Sheriff Earnie Blackley, on August 27, Jesse Arvil Sanders, age 19 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Izard County Deputies and agents with the 16th District Drug Task Force for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful use of a communication device, and unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate certain crimes. Sanders’ bond was set at $30,000 with a court date of September 11 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On August 28, Richard Wayne Huff, age 38 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Nick Taylor for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Huff’s bond was set at $365 with a court date of October 8 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 28, James Thomas Stowe, age 40 of Violet Hill, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith on a warrant out of Tennessee for felony theft of property. Stowe appeared before Judge Miller for extradition and will be extradited to Tennessee.

On August 29, Joshua A. Clark, age 31 of Violet Hill, was arrested by Chief Deputy Charles Melton for probation violations. Clark is currently being held without bond.

On August 30, William Ray Ashworth, age 49 of Midway, was arrested by Deputy Kasey Hull on a warrant for failure to appear. Ashworth was given an OR bond with a court date of September 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 30, Donald James Jones, age 43 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Evan Jones for domestic battery. Jones was given an OR bond with a court date of September 19 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 30. Nicholas Alexander Lamb, age 20 of Brockwell was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for domestic battery. Lamb was given an OR bond with a court date of September 19 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 30, Mykaila Leighanne Dillard, age 22 of Brockwell, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for domestic battery. Dillard was given an OR bond with a court date of September 19 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 31, Jeremiah Lucas Gandy, age 31 of Violet Hill, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant for failure to appear, Gandy’s bond was set at $515 with a court date of September 5 in the Izard County District Court. 

On September 1, Billy Wayne Craig, age 63 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested by Sgt, Steve Davidson for shoplifting and battery. Craig is currently being held with no bond and a court date of September 19 in the Izard County District Court.

On September 1, Brenda Lee Files, age 53 of Midway, was arrested by Deputy Kasey Hull on a warrant for petition to revoke probation. Files is being held with no bond with a court date of September 11 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On September 2, Brian Manuel Wells, age 46 of Pine Bluff, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for absconding from probation / parole. Wells’ bond was set at $1120 with a court date of September 19 for the drug paraphernalia. Wells is being held with no bond for absconding pending a hearing.
