IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT SHERIFF EARNIE BLACKLEY

According to Sheriff Earnie Blackley, On October 2, Deputy Toby Smith and Trooper Lively made a traffic stop in Calico Rock on Christopher Ray Day, age 42 of Marcella, for traffic violations. After providing his identification, Day got back into his vehicle and fled. After short time Day was stopped again. As a result, Day is being held on a Probation/Parole hold with formal charges pending in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On September 30, Blake Andrew Yates, age 19 of Batesville, was arrested by Lt. Gabriel Sanders for sexual indecency of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Yates' bond was set at $5,000 with a court date of October 23 in the Izard County Circuit Court. In an unrelated case, Chief Deputy Charles Melton charged Yates for minor in possession of alcohol and theft by receiving. In this case Yates' bond was set at $940 with a court date of October 10 in the Izard County District Court.

On October 3, Stephen Mason Cagle, age 37 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith on a warrant for battery 3rd degree, fleeing, and possession of a firearm by certain persons. Cagle's bond was set at $5,000 with a court date of October 23 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On October 3, Adam Devoe Smith, age 34 of Wideman, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant for 2nd degree assault. Smith's bond was set at $100 and a court date of October 24 in the Izard County District Court.

On October 4, Jeremy D. Fitzgerald, age 49 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Trooper Lively for driving while intoxicated, drinking in public, and no proof of insurance. Fitzgerald also has a hold form Probation/Parole and is being held on no bond with a court date of December 12 in the Izard County District Court.

On October 5, Gary Lee Bandemier, age 46 of Cherokee Village, was arrested by Deputy Tyler Webb on a warrant out of Lawrence County for failure to appear. Lawrence County transported Bandemier back to their county.

On October 6, Corey Richard Alfano, age 35 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan for driving on a suspended driver's license for driving while intoxicated and no proof of insurance. Alfano is being held until he appears before a judge.

On October 7, Hazel Amberger, age 46 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended license for driving while intoxicated. Amberger is being held until she appears before a judge.
